desu a lot of arcade racers would be unfriendly to you if you try emulating them with anything but wheel
i'd kill myself if i emulated initial d arcade stage 5 or sega super gt with controller or god forbid a keyboard
there are exceptions like proper home ports such as initial d special or street stage but arcade stage 2 and 3 are still faster compared to the home ports
i got into outrun 2 with controller recently and all the top players use wheel cause of certain techniques like the no-drift brake turning
