Okay after nearly a week of research, grinding resources to build my deck, and playtesting I finally feel like I can really "begin" to play YGO. Completely new player, i'm mainly a magic player and put off YGO for years because of the memes but got frustrated enough with MTG that I wanted to try YGO just to really see what's there considering it's the second most popular TCG out there and there had to be more to it beyond "le epic OTKs".

I fucked up originally because I didn't quite understand the deck yet so when I ran out of UR resources I was missing Yama and Abomination, with Yama being absolutely crucial for the deck to work and Abom being a massive payoff to actually win on my turn.
>Why Unchained Fiendsmith?
Literally because I didn't know a good way to actually look for decks or for people to explain decks and when I was looking I found a video of an autistic guy explaining this deck (sort of) and I just stuck to it. Even though I later found out that he's playing this deck specifically because of two cards that aren't currently on master duel (Buio and Mutiny in the Sky).
>Why isn't X card in your deck
Because I don't have the UR mats for it. I'm flush with SR, very few URs but right now I have all the core tools to make a competent board state.
