>Brock's Onix doesn't have any Rock type moves in Gen 1
>Metal Claw does marginally more damage in Gen 3 but Onix actually gets Rock Tomb
>Chamander sucks in Gen 1 not because of Brock, but because half the damn region (including the next fight) is Water type, it gets shit Special and Ice is neutral against Fire (so it gets hit for SE damage)
>oh also literally NO moves but Fire moves lmao, the only coverage you get is Earthquake/Dig, Submission (BLEGHHHHH) and Fly... IN YELLOW ONLY
In short: pick Bulbasaur for autocrit Razor Leaf or Squirtle for actual decent coverage
