No one cares about your OCs unless you actually do something with them. If Sonic the Hedgehog never amounted to anything but a few drawings on some nobody's sketchbook, not a single person would ever care.
You want to make an OC actually worth a shit? Do something with them that people will care enough about to get invested in them. Draw a comic series, make an animation, put them in a video game, something people can engage with. Even a fucking book/novel will do you significantly better than just slapping them onto DA or FA. People meme on OCs all the time (pic related is a popular /co/ shitpost) because they don't do anything. Most faggots draw some donut steel and expect to get worshipped for it despite it never working that way, especially on the internet.
So then, I ask, why the fuck would I put time and effort into drawing something original on a shitpost game when little Tim(antha) is likely just going to scribble a tranny colored ralsei over it? You can say it's "for the art" but there are hundreds of different places to express it.
