These 'people' are genuinely mentally ill. They are unable to function in normal society. They're autistic, on a lot of medication like HRT and deeply out of shape.
They don't understand social cues even remotely.
They are incredibly emotional and unstable 'people' due to all of the above, and as such are A-typical failed adults regressing into a childhood mentality to cope with their failure in life.
