i tried really hard.
got involved in a community of people irl that were my age and were pretty nice.
within a year they were overtly making fun of me and people like me to my face, mocking the pain of loneliness etc.
when i came into the room they would start talking about some inanimate object but it was obvious they were talking about me, how something was awkward to use and asking why is it here while looking right at me.
