I have. It only proves that Cream is literally just Girl Tails, at her core. The article after the story goes on to describe how she's the little sister character.

Forcing Cream into the core cast is only gonna overlap with Tails in this regard, and you'd have to jump through hoops to do what the OK KO crossover did where Sonic had to distinguish Tails as his best friend from Cream as his "little buddy" when in the grand scheme of things, it's the same dynamic because Tails and Cream are both little siblings with a lot of potential that Sonic will encourage and inspire.
