With the current stable release you need to use one of the managers listed on the front page of their website (pic related)
The latest nightly has their new built-in manager but you need to start 86box with some launch argument to use it, probably because it's not 100% ready yet
The next stable release that's coming out August 24 is going to have the built in manager
