WoW is a crushingly lonely experience. I do not have friends. I have never been able to make friends in WoW. I played even in vanilla, and whilst boomers back then managed to find wives in WoW, I found nothing. I will often see two or more people walking by together, clearly friends questing, and I think 'That must be nice'. But it's not my fate, I am destined to reach max level and find a dead guild and stand around on the Orgrimmar bank roof wondering whether I'll ever achieve the dream of having a comfy guild full of friends progressing together. And then I'll log off for the last time. It's over.
