The T4 was a prototype of the Rover P6, attempting to conceive a car with a comparable gas-turbine engine to the pic race car. Ultimately, Rover concluded that fitting such an engine to a production car would multiply the cost of the car to the customer by 6x, thereby making such a car nonviable.
