Actually, i think the lore is pretty good. It was just delivered extremely poorly in 1.0, and since its the foundation of the whole universe it kinda sucked at first.

ill admit genshin did a better job sucking you in to its world, but for me wuwa did a better job keeping me there.

But like to your point, most people didnt realize that Cartethyia was overclocking here because the lore was badly explained lmao
