Like here, you wanna incorporate Stella even though Noctis is canonically with Luna? Make Stella the love interest of Nocts dad and have small glimpses of all the bullshit his father had to go through. As much as people whine about not getting the OG Noct no one cares about OG Nocts dad, fuck around with him for a bit and have him get into shit that leads to the events of the first game. Bringing in the God of Death, have her not be involved through the main story cause she feels a gods role isnt to be involved in earthly matters anymore, she finds out the bullshit that Bahamut gets to and gets pissed, and helps adult Noctis. You can incorporate the OG ideas into the existing narrative, trust me, Ive thought about this for years, and believe me something like that at least WAAAAAY less contrived then that fucking Dawn of The Future.
