some large areas like chroma falls are just kind of unoptimized and it's unfortunate that it's literally the first area so it leaves a bad impression, the newer content is pretty much rock solid
graphics options don't seem to do much and the biggest culprit is the resolution imo, on my 10 year old hardware I drop it to 720p and it works pretty well
