I'm not arguing that your actions don't have temporary short-term effects. I'm arguing that the ending of the game will be identical regardless of route. Pointing out route differences means nothing.

Let's say you're a 'pacifist' player who finds out the ending is the same no matter what, if as a player you know a world is doomed to some fixed ending, do you go back and rape everyone to death just because you figured out the good boy points don't matter? I think it's pretty interesting how many people will avoid or refuse the play the weird route because they are convinced it will give them a "bad ending" when I am still under the impression that toby's point will be the ending doesn't matter. Is mind-raping noelle only wrong if the ending changes into a bad one? It's like saying being a good person doesn't matter because the sun will burn out one day so therefore your choices do not matter.

Your incredible annoyance at the very idea of a fixed ending is part of why I think one will happen. Too many people think their good boy points can be cashed in for a good ending when there's a decent chance they actually don't change it at all.
