If you only follow Dazshit or Honey Select renpy wegs there's still a good amount of them coming out every week even.
I don't think AI art is going anywhere but the best use of it I've seen so far is when devs run their Daz or HS renders through Stable Diffusion or whatever so characters have less of that gobbo face.

It's still just a daz gobbo weg underneath, it's obvious from some of the faces. It looks like he used an AI filter as a quick and dirty (lazy) way of making it look stylized and retro themed since it's supposed to be set in the 80s. Personally I don't mind it
