If you have a ton of time, here's... 30,000ish words I wrote about the Death Battle episode. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1uAOnnk-ZfX0HvBJokkw-hHNiiahBXf0JrYajUK3GsfA/edit?usp=sharing

I realized upon skimming through it that I didn't cover the infinite Yggdrasil arguments, so I'll quickly recap it. The argument solely comes from the GOW 2018 novelization, wherein, in Chapter 51, Kratos sees an environment ""like a tree branch stretching out to infinity." This is falsely described on the VSBW explanation page as the narrator stating "that Yggdrasil’s branches stretch out infinitely." There are a few problems with this, but the biggest, most obvious one, is that the narrator isn't saying anything concrete about Yggdrasil. He's only discussing what Kratos thinks he sees, about an environment he doesn't even realize is the branches of Yggdrasil until Mimir points it out. You can read it later in the same paragraph.

In short, they interpret "Kratos looked at a weird environment that was so big that he didn't know if there were any limits to its size at first glance" as "the narrator said the weird environment was literally infinite," which is really just a weird way to fail 4th grade English as a community.
