Notable aspect: Due to their mastery over fire, the Fire Nation is the most technologically advanced of the four nations, able to easily smelt iron ore and power steam engines. They have a wide variety of metal vehicles for land, sea, and air.

Power modifiers: Firebending is disabled during solar eclipses, and VASTLY amplified when a comet's orbit brings it close to Earth.
Notable aspect: Fire is the only element that a bender can create on their own, all other bending types require preexisting material.
Firebending subtypes:
- Lightingbending is a more powerful form of the energy release firebenders employ. Creation and redirection of lightning can be extremely dangerous if the user is not careful.
- Combustionbending has the user direct their energy release like an invisible beam, igniting the air at a precise location to create a large explosion. It requires line-of-sight.
