That's not how this works. If a character is attractive and people latch onto them, then their design isn't generic. This is LITERALLY how gatcha games make their money, but hiding good looking characters and aethetics behind pay walls. If it didn't, they wouldn't be making money. You can shit on gatcha games for a lot of reasons, but you can't say their characters don't look good
And by what metric does a character "make an impact" even fucking mean? Lots of characters make an impact, for lots of different reasons.
