I seriously hope you guys didn't partake in that whole meme about running a garbage team with your spare CM tickets in order to boost worse players into the final round.

In case you're not aware, the matching process we're all waiting to conclude at the moment is actually quite a robust matchmaking system. You see, Cygames knows there's a chance that someone with subpar runners could luck their way into the final races. Why is that relevant? Well like I said, the matchmaking is robust. Cygames is really trying to pit players of equal skill level against each other for the fairest races possible. But it's not always going to be possible to find three players right at the same exact skill level.
What this means is that some lobbies will really only be about TWO players testing their skills against each other while the third is just a random jobber meant to fill space (and lose).
Guess who is a priority pick to fit that doomed fill slot? That's right. Players Cygames thinks lucked into the finals and are fated to lose anyway.
So if Cygames sees that you qualified once each round of races, then utterly failed every other attempt (say, because you were purposely running a garbage team), then I'm sorry to say you've already been flagged as a lucky shitter.
