I want to believe you and I don't think you're lying, but in my experience it's the FIRST QUESTION in interviews I get asked. My record is expunged and they want copies of that too, which is retarded and expensive for me.

I'm at the point of just lying to them and saying I have no criminal record because technically I don't anymore apparently, my current employer does background checks for us for certain clients and nothing is coming back on mine.

It's still bullshit and I'm 100% for making laws/policies saying employers can't use background checks for job interviews/qualifications anymore.
