spy's role in the videogame is already attained by how his class is designed.
Spy is countered by communicating players, true, but, the space that is created by requiring the enemy gamer to look around and spycheck (not exclusive to the pyro) is a force multiplier directly correlated to how competent your team is at using aforementioned created space.
The only theoretical buffs he could use are for "alternative playstyles" like gun spy (already fucking strong, 3rd strongest hitscan weapon at midrange).
spy mains that complain about the outline should rediscover the function that lets you disguise as someone on your own team, like a scout, so you dont pop up on the outline (only used when you want to kill someone straight out of their spawn).
in high levels, spy's scouting medic % and doing bullshit instakill picks by being a janky class backed by interp settings is more than enough to do his job.
it's okay for classes to have weaknesses. not everyone has to be able to achieve everything.
