>Deus Ex, debating finishing it with shit mod
May as well finish it, the last half of the game is like half as long as you typically spend in New York anyway.
But yeah, DX mods are all George Lucas levels of can't leave the game the fuck alone, making constant dumbass changes nobody asked for.
>Questionable consent
>Such as?
Some coomer.su onlyfans whores LARPing it out, probably.
>getting kind of cold here
>Where do you live that in the summer it is cold?
South Australia. Winter in this hemisphere.
Which, -5C/20F isn't the coldest of the cold, but it's just annoying enough when all the windows are open. Might see if I can get some thin cotton gloves or something.

>Still I would like to be sold on it.
You're not missing anything integral. If there's a jrpg that's worth selling people on it's going to be Dark Cloud, Shadow Hearts, Wizardry Alternative or Valkyrie Profile or something, not Disgaea.
It's not a game I'm regretting playing, though. There's a lot of knowledge gates that speed up progression that fans are happy to let you know about, it has a lot of fun with its own premise, and it's from an era where balance wasn't a priority so it's fun to watch your mages nuke the field in one turn while the archery class dies forgotten where it belongs. It's a game of extremes that's best played a bit at a time with something up on another screen.
Definitely has that "moorish" quality most srpgs do where you're just one more battle or item world trip from achieving another bunch of goals.
>has a lot of entries
Yeah never commit to a full marathon of any rpg series, even Ultima burns you out fast. You play one game every so often and pretend the others don't exist.
