Metabolism in general is a meme
Observe super skinny people and you'll see, they don't even finish their food. They'll take 3 or 4 bites out of the pizza slice like pic related and then consider that slice finished and move to the next, then in their head they'll think "I JUST EAT FULL PIZZA WHY I NO GAIN WEIGHT". or even sandwiches, they take 3 bites and then leave all the crust along with half the fucking sandwich. They don't finish their meals, you'll never see a skelly at dinner with a clear plate at the end. I used to be the skinnyfag who apparently had a fast metabolism and couldn't gain, until a bro pointed this shit out to me and I actually started eating lol. Used to struggle to get over 140lbs despite "stuffing my face" as I thought. Since actually learning how to eat properly and finish my meals I struggle to keep weight off if anything, find cutting difficult now because I turned into a greedy bastard
And on the opposite end fatties are taking it too far, eating every last bit but also drowning their food in sauce and washing it down with soda
Nobody would have problems with their weight on either end of this if they all tracked every macro, and did so consistently and accurately over an extended period of time. None of us have special or unique bodies, the laws of thermodynamics and CICO apply to everyone
