A little more I want to say on this -
Another different example is Neuras. Neuras is fucking awesome and his McGuffin quest ends up being both painless and fun because his dialogue is so good, and I do think Metaphor generally does a great job having the Follower events follow a coherent theme like P5 while also being a bit more varied, but he's in the story less than Fuuka is in P3 or Haru is in P5. You can make the argument that this doesn't really matter because Neuras is more of a supporting character and you might put way more focus on the social link structure than someone who absolutely hates it because it's harder to digest, but again setting aside your opinion vs. someone else's, that inherent lacking is something fairly objective
tl;dr I explained why /pg/ regulars are still completely outspoken and metaphor's writing deviated from P5 in some significant not so good ways but also a couple good ways
