He's not wrong. In AC2 you're forced to buy leather boots which don't look that different from the default ones, in Brotherhood you're forced to buy Roman Pauldrons which are ugly as sin and different' pauldrons don't unlock until two or three Sequences later. Also, you *cannot* buy that cover's metal left pauldron. Period. It does not exist in-game. Every pauldron looks different, and also comes with a right shoulder pauldron and not just a left shoulder one attached to the cape. Pic related can only be modded in.
