yeah, maybe a couple of OVAs would work better to build up her character, but unfortunately the real horse's career was pretty short lived, so it's hard to find some drama to be inspired by
also, even if she wins at the end, it still feels like she stayed in tachyon and opera's shadows, those two were WAY more interesting
