It's MTL but it's honestly more than fine.
The game is compelte in that there's a complete end to the story, Trtr is working on a "part 4" which is basically a victory ng+++ run with the endgame characters, think of it as dlc you wait for after finishing the main game. We know it's not coming until 2027 at the earliest because Trtr wanted to take a break.
