I have some good memories of the 00's but I do feel like we were always aware that we were squatting in the ruins of the 90's. And then the shit hit the fan with the Great Recession.

I knew the "when things went wrong" date would get pushed back. Can't find it, but remember the image macro showing iPhone, Obama running, housing market etc all happening in 2007 and that's when society started to decline? Nowcits 2016? Nothing ever happens.
