You seem to be keenly interested in plapjak. I just so happen to be the creator of the original plapjak, and all of the plapjaks posted to this thread so far.
It has been over a year since the meme took off, but I will occasionally make a new on if I get some inspiration. I still make a new one every now and then if I can think of some new angle (like the dog plapjak for example, I made long after the meme was dead). You can see this trend in my earliest works, starting with the original being the most basic, then each successive plapjak having some new element, like the mirror, the phone, etc. When the meme blew up, there were a lot of low quality plapjaks created and spammed by crypto shitcoin accounts trying to pump their plapjak coins, but there are some other high quality ones out there not made by me.
The signatures of my style are heavy purple color, a mix of traced scenes and copy pasted stock images, blurring to create depth, and heavy vignette/gradients to give the approximate shadows and shading.
