I will never not seethe that nobody tried to copy the magic system of this game.
Legitimately the coolest system I've ever seen in any game.

Not even just the drawing runes in real-time/order to cast spells, which feels WIZARD as fuck, but also the way spells are constructed. Like to make a fireball, you'd need three runes, 'Create' 'Fire' 'Projectile', whilst drawing 'Create' 'Fire' 'Area' conjures a fire wall.

It's so fucking cool and magical. Imagine what a modern developer could do with that system.
