IMO: If it is in the 2nd Edition list and hasnt be retconned (Imperial Guard Speeder) and makes thematic sense (not all kinds of Imperial Armour tank variants, as the armylist author didnt want, but PDF-issue guns like Rapier and Thudd Gun), why not include them with edition-appropriate rules? :3
