I don't think the old design matches what was likely always Yuzuha's intended personality. The point of Manato's design is that is gives mad dog but he's actually quite amiable. It's an intentional juxtaposition.

I don't see how it would add anything for Yuzuha personally, and it would be weird that in a faction that's meant to be a collection of misfits for only two members to be matching.
