That said, music is built upon other music inherently. Syntactical structure has been basically the same for the last 500 years, for instance. If there's a story you want told then you can experiment in different ways. Throw out the chorus and make instrumental bridges between motions, or change the chorus to follow the story.

Your gens are good, but they're not something someone could just pick up and listen to because of these lyrical hiccups. I used that example up there specifically because of word truncation, rhythm, and the chorus shift at the end. In terms of production your creations are far better, but Time's Up is easier to listen to.
