It is true, the amount of women who have no kids at all isn't significantly higher than it was in the past. Historically, 15-20% didn't have kids. The amount of kids women are having is less than the amount they want. There was an article I read showing how laws preventing the amount of child seats that can be put inside a car promote women to have one/two kids over three. People don't know their neighbors anymore, and god forbid you want your child to play outside without a neighbor calling the police. You're expected to constantly hover over your kids without the help of family/friends/neighbors anything less is child abuse. The economic impact of kids is another thing, lol.
