Coexistence is doomed to fail the moment Luka dies, either from natural causes or from whichever monster wife he ends up with fucking him to death via energy drain or a heart attack. But that's a good thing! Humans and monsters will go back to their natural state of being, where some monsters cooperate with humans and some stay on the fringes kidnapping men to eat/marry/fuck and mankind will continue to prosper and grow on it's own without some superpowerful half angel protagonist rolling up to force everyone to play nice.
