I got the coof, and it certainly didn't hit me like any other virus I've gotten.
The days were all coughing and snot and muscle aches, but the nights?
The first night my body felt like it was on fire, it was the worst fever I've ever had.
The second night I had the worst chills I ever had.
The third night I slept like a fucking baby and woke up hearty and hale.
My immune system went fucking ballistic trying to murder it, and murder it it did.
It really would have been a blessing if it was allowed to rampage unmolested. It would have stripped us of the weak and feeble.
