Premodern bros. Will this work?

I wanted something in the line of Miracle grow for premodern. But with no tropical islands you can't get the best use out of land grant so I have to run more lands. Since I don't want to run any diamonds, I decided to put some spirit guides to help ramp out dryads and winter orbs. And then putting Reef Shamans (hence the deck name: Reefer Farm) in I can turn one of my lands into a forest if I need a free cast submerge while having a way to fuck with my opponent's mana or turn off manlands on their upkeep, or get island walk off when I have lord in play.
