If we're talking about minor lore factions then root kings would be the better faction.
In general root kings would fit much better with sylvaneth and should have been the new release.
Just imagine druid dwarfs that build under great trees and forests and protect them from stuff that damages nature from underground like skaven and gitz while the tree spirits protect it from above.
