>K.O. Yu-Gi-oh! theme starts playing
>Boomstick: Ow, my childhood, again… did we really have to watch Charizard die three whole times?
>Wiz: If it helps, this was a very close battle. Ash’s wide array of Pokemon and abilities would certainly have given Yugi a run for his money, at least, at first.
>Boomstick: Until he was able to use his bullshit magic and trap cards to counter them all! Seriously, stopping attacks with light swords, reflecting attacks back at all of Ash’s monsters, and neutralizing Pokemon into a freaking pentagram?!
>Wiz: While Ash’s team was certainly diverse and strong, they relied heavily on his training and tactics to function outside of fighting like wild animals. Realistically, he could only control a few of them at once. On the other hand, Yugi could simultaneously activate multiple cards and control several monsters on the field.
>Boomstick: And that’s not even getting into their attack power. Yugi controls monsters that measure up to continent level threats like the Leivathan. His strongest monster casually one-shotted Zorc, who caused a solar eclipse without breaking a sweat!
>Wiz: Ash’s attacks by comparison were a bit more underwhelming, and his strongest moves were limited by the constraints of things like mega-evolution-
>Boomstick: -while Yugi’s Egyptian Gods could pretty much do whatever they wanted. But hey, couldn’t Ash have just, you know punched him? I’d at least want to see if I could grab that stupid haircut, there’s no way he doesn’t use product.
>Wiz: Uh, yeah. While Ash has definitely displayed some relatively impressive strength feats, there’s a question of if he would have even gotten close enough to Yugi to strike him. Atem has displayed a mastery of trickery and illusions several times over, and Ash, well, he's kinda dumb.
>Wiz: Yugi’s superior tactical mind, range of abilities, and more impressive attack power won the day.
>Boomstick: Ash couldn’t quite catchup to Yugi’s mojo.
>Wiz: The Winner is Yugi Mutou
