The problem is that we always see them with distinctly human features that are abit twisted. Different color, engorged eyes, lanky build. But they all got our musculature and general structure.
Why would a low gravity planet for example even have muscular creatures like us? The physiology makes no sense.

Even putting aside autistic evolutionism, why can't it be cooler and authentic? We have SO MANY different forms of creature on this planet. Why is it so hard to imagine something non humanoid for a completely new planet?

I mean fuck you don't even have to go far, just look what we find deep under the sea
