An exhaust fan that has never worked suddenly won't stop spinning. It has a humidity sensor, no switch or button of any kind that I can see.
I don't care to repair it, just want it to stop. At the source the wires are messily coupled/joined/spliced (whatever you say) to important stuff with a ton of tape, I'd rather not touch it.
If I disconnect the two wires inside the fan itself and wrap them with electrical tape, will they still waste any electricity?
