They do you just don't know you're consuming it. Supplement companies here order ingredients from China and end up with God knows what. Those Chinese importers want to stay in business so the "whey" they're shipping out has to work. But China doesn't have the dairy industry to accommodate the sheer amount of cheap protein powder demand they're getting. So they send out ground up bugs, it gets added to a flavored powder mix here, and labeled "made in USA." You consume ze bugs and get results, you order more and consume more bugs.
This is why I don't touch mystery powders at all. Just eat food and drink milk.
