I think it just goes to show how much of the gaming population prefers single player experiences with the ability to show off to others.

I saw some people talking about Brighter Shores today how it went from 22k players on release to 400 last month. Most of the people were saying how Runescape was better. I haven't played Runescape myself but I think Runescape had more ways to show off to other players with it's whole economy and everything.
