In this Gran Pulse scene, Snow asks her, showing doubt again, just like in the subway scene:
>we will se her, right?
Initially talking with Snow face to face, she goes behind him on purpose, so that he does not see her crying, nudges him and answers, as if remembering their last conversation and again encouraging Snow:
>no room for doubt.
>we will see her again. And Soon. You convinced me on that. So stay strong.
But in reality, we see that she herself is not sure of the correctness of the plan. This is why she goes behind Snow's back and this is why she nudges him, because she is actually weak and she herself relies on the strength of his convictions, which perfectly encapsulates the idea of her character stuck between roles of caring mother and attention seeking child abandoned by her parents. This scene also shows their dynamic of dependence on each other, like a family, how they learning to take care for each other. One detail I like: Snow notices that she is crying, so he deliberately does not turn around, as if playing along with her. Everything is done very economically, without purple prose or walls of text: very simple language and visual acting of characters communicate the essential idea of Claire as a character.

Purest Muse.
