Seems Odyssey adds a ton of items, including something named "AncientMiningCharge" and "PilotAssistant". New resource called Stellite, probably

New worldgenstep for map tiles called "Landmarks" added by Odyssey, not in 1.6 core. This seems to be the geological landforms component. Flooding is added by Odyssey, not core. Scenario editor has options for starting planet layer, meaning space starts should be viable like they were in SOS2.
With Odyssey, some animals can be trained to mine/dig, comfort pawns, elephants can do something called "WarTrumpet". Thrumbos can "ThrumboRoar". Pigs "Forage".
! ! ! Megaspider has a
node which means taming them isn't a bug anymore? You can train them to "AttackTarget" (same as wargs). Odyssey adds a new insectoid called "Locust".
You can see armor stands and pawn statues in picrelated. There's also some kind of mushroom drug (humpshroom confirmed?) on one of the shelves on the left side of the ship.
