The 90s anime was better than the manga and the remake because they made Misao a main character for the anime original arcs even if it made no sense for her to be there, they spammed the shit out of her in season 3 (even including her alongside the main cast in the OPs and EDs) and I liked that, I also liked that most of the anime original villains were ridiculously overpowered that they actually gave Kenshin a run for his money and beat the shit out of him a lot, the fact that most of the anime original villains died is also a plus as in the manga most of the villains get off too easy or without so much as a scratch
