>>280262855>So itโs to say his absence is a protest against WatsukiDoubt it, lmao. I don't think Kubo gives a shit about Watsuki being in possession of child pornography as much as Westerners do. He just wasn't invited for the RuroKen's 30th anniversary. Plus, he has no ties to Watsuki whatsoever. A lot of the people participating on RuroKen's 30th anniversary are either proteges of Watsuki (like Oda), people who Watsuki worked under as an assistant or fellow colleagues from the Golden Age of Jump.

>Kubo is in, araki isn't.Why would Araki? He doesn't know Tabata while Kubo does. A lot of the people participating in Black Clover's anniversary are people who are either friends with Tabata or peoppe he worked under as an assistant (like Psyren). Jump is all about connections.
>Gotouge back from the dead for this too.Just like Kubo, the Demon Slayer author knows Tabata and their appearance is not special either. They weren't invited for the RuroKen's 30th anniversary, not because of some moral principle. They just have never been a constant for tributes either and they have no ties to Watsuki.
Like the other Anon said, people overrate Kubo because of his association with Oda and Kishimoto, and Bleach being one of the early titles during the anime boom in the West in the 2000s. Just like Kurumada, just like Horikoshi, there's nothing that separates him from another mangaka with a hit in Japan and him being the creator of Bleach doesn't make him a more notable name. Same with the Demon Slayer author whose series is famous but the public don't care about the author. The only people who can be treated like superstars in the manga world are people like Oda, Toriyama, Tezuka, Inoue and Araki. Everyone else are interchangeable
