If 5 cats can catch 5 mice in 5 minutes then we can deduce that 1 cat could catch 1 mouse in minute. Therefore if that one cat proceeded to catch 1 mouse every minute for 100 minutes then he would catch 100 mice.
That is, unless the cats are performing some advanced team-based mice-herding technique which necessitate 5 cats and would fail with a lesser number of cats. This is a bit of a stretch though. And by the same logic you could argue that 100 mice are capable of advanced team-based cat-avoidance techniques. In any case, basic real-world human reasoning should tell us that a cat can catch a mouse in a minute.
