The Steam Deck proved just much developer support they can get due to the overwhelming amount of customers they have. They've also finally proven themselves that they can properly support a device unlike previous attempts. Basically, I would expect another Steam Deck situation. Valve/Steam has become a powerful and trusted brand. There are people who would be willing to try out anything Valve pushes out. Steam Deck people are also likely to give it a shot. Devs will likely try to cash in on the initial hype/release of the Deckard and have games ready to go. A snowball effect for pushing VR games. I don't expect it to go full mainstream, but I do expect it to make just as big of waves as Quest.
