It has the most strange and dreamlike vibe when playing... Tidus's melancholic narration of past events blended into current gameplay give everything this prophetic feeling.

It's a reminder of how much art is influenced by being in a place. The entire development team was sent out to Hawaii and that bright, aquatic, colorful feeling of Hawaii is so apparent in the game.
